River Terrace is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Cook to join our skilled nursing facility in Bluffton, IN. This position offers approximately 25 hours per week and is ideal for someone who is passionate about preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents.
Schedule

• Part-Time
• Evening Shift
• Every Other Weekend Required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and established portion control guidelines
• Coordinate food production to ensure meals are prepared and served on time
• Follow standardized recipes and accommodate special diet orders
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist with meal preparation, food storage, and inventory as needed
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide excellent meal service

Qualifications

• One (1) year of dining services experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or medical facility preferred
• Culinary school training is a plus
• ServSafe Certification required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
