Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a leading long and short-term care facility in Binghamton, New York. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sterile environment for our residents, ensuring their health and comfort. Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, and equipment to maintain a sterile environment

• Restock linens, towels, and supplies as needed

• Empty trash and recyclables, and restock bathrooms with toiletries and amenities

• Participate in infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases

• Collaborate with other members of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning procedures

• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of our residents and their families

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience in a housekeeping or healthcare setting (training provided)

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand for long periods and move efficiently throughout the facility

• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control measures

Benefits:

• $16/HR

Vacation and Time Off:
