MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE. AUTOBODY EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS FOR THIS ROLE.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm


Pay Rate: $24.00


Job Overview

We are seeking 2 Metal Finishers to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grinding, machining and fabrication, with the ability to operate various grinding machines and tools. This role involves precision work and attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on metal components, contributing to the overall production process.


Duties

• Operate and maintain grinding machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Perform grinding operations on various materials, including Aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in the assembly of parts and components as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in operating hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
• Experience in quality inspection processes to ensure product standards are met.
• Knowledge of tooling techniques for effective grinding operations.
• Previous experience operating forklifts .
