Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated soccer coach to lead after‑school classes. You will be paired with pre‑written lesson plans and videos, allowing you to focus on delivering fun, engaging instruction to children ages 1 to 15. Your role will nurture social skills, teach fundamental soccer techniques, and create a supportive, energetic learning environment. Responsibilities Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, and shooting. Manage behavior effectively to create a respectful and focused atmosphere. Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance. Organize and oversee practice sessions, drills, and scrimmages. Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players. Ensure the safety of all participants during classes. Show up on time and prepared for each session (physically and mentally). Experience and Qualifications Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in soccer, is an advantage but not required. Experience working with students or youth in an educational or athletic setting is a plus. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Valid driver’s license and willingness to commute to class sites. Available for weekday afternoons from 2:00 PM or 2:30 PM onward during the 10‑week season. Spanish fluency is not required but is a plus. Position Details Job Type: Part‑time / Seasonal Expected Hours: 5–7 hours per week (1.5 hours per day, 4 days each week) Schedule: Choose your own hours within the available shifts Compensation: $18.00–$25.00 per hour Season: 10 weeks (Monday–Thursday) during the weeks of 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20 Note: One week (week of 3/9) is a break period with no shifts.
