Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Blessing Hospital.

Required Skills/Experience: - OR experience required. - Experience with portable exams.

Unit Details: - General x-ray department covering ED/trauma, OR, and inpatient x-ray. - Non-OR fluoroscopic exams based on experience and comfort with performing other studies. - Uses BAR (Allscripts-based system) and Scimage PICOM PACS. - Equipment includes Carestream fixed units and portables, Siemens fluoroscopy, GE OEC surgical C-arms, a cysto fluoro table, and a hybrid OR vascular unit. - Travelers will be expected to precept students. - No IV starts required.

Shift & Scheduling: - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. - Block scheduling with some flexibility; only time the hospital has one x-ray tech is 11:30 PM to 6:30 AM. - Weekday on-call/standby required for OR tech; on-call is self-scheduled cooperatively by day techs. - Weekend requirements vary, but most OR tech needs require 1-3 on-call weekends during the contract. - Travelers are expected to help cover holidays.

Floating Requirements: - Float/cover ED and inpatient areas for x-ray only.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required
