Room Attendant

We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional. Responsibilities: • Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed • Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed • Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies • Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel’s standard before guests arrive • Respond to general inquiries from guests CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departmentsFill the cart with supplies and transport the cart to the assigned areaEnter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before enteringReplace guest amenities and supplies in roomsReplace dirty linens and terry with clean itemsClean bathroomsRemove trash, dirty linens, and room service itemsCheck that all appliances are present in the room and in working orderStraighten desk items, furniture, and appliancesDust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishingsFollow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materialsEnsure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary informationWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciationSpeak with others using clear and professional languageSupport team to reach common goalsEnsure adherence to quality expectations and standardsMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistanceReach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stoopingStand, sit, or walk for an extended period of timeAttention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personalityAvailable to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Supervisors Qualifications: • At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred • Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent Compensation: $17 hourly
