Custodial Supervisor

Responsibilities and Requirements Organize, schedule, assign, and perform daily work routines. Team leader for safety in assigned work area. Train employees on safety issues and provide protective equipment. Investigate accidents, determine causes of injuries, and report all concerns and injuries. Provide on‑job training for new employees and ongoing coaching for current employees. Manage equipment and consumables; ensure adequate supply of products and chemicals. Communicate effectively about requests, work orders, and other job elements. Coordinate and assist with building emergencies (e.g., fire/flood clean‑up, snow/ice removal). Plan and conduct major cleaning operations; supervise assigned work projects. Daily supervision of custodians regarding quantity and quality of work. Inspect assigned areas to ensure compliance with quality standards using inspection systems. Supervise related work as required; provide disciplinary action and counsel when necessary. Attend joint meetings with employees and managers for written warnings. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications College degree preferred but not required.
