Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or pediatric environment
• Strong understanding of IEPs and ability to contribute as a team member
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Innovative approach to therapy, adapting strategies to each student’s needs
• Demonstrated organizational skills and flexibility in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services and consultations for students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to implement interventions and support students’ success
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records of student progress
• Promote inclusion through classroom and small-group interventions
• Educate staff and families on accommodations and strategies for enhanced student participation
