Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse - Renal Med-Surg Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy 21-bed Renal Med-Surg unit specializing in the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions. This high-acuity unit manages a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients Manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders Schedule This position requires a Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with a 36-hour work week, including every other weekend. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active Ohio RN license (required at submission) Current BLS certification Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience (renal experience strongly preferred) Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips Epic EMR proficiency (mandatory, no training provided) Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination Why ARMStaffing?
