About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission. The CFO will be a key partner to the President & CEO and the Executive Leadership Team, leading the financial strategy, long-range planning, and investor relations. This executive will be responsible for a wide range of financial functions, including multi-year financial modeling, capital strategy, and oversight of audit, finance, loan servicing, and treasury. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with a focus on the intersection of financial strategy and social impact, and will be adept at making decisions that directly influence the capacity to lend and grow. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should be deeply motivated by the mission of the organization and possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with advanced certifications such as an MBA, CPA, and/or CMA strongly preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of financial management experience, particularly in nonprofit, CDFI, or commercial lending settings, is required, along with a proven track record in raising or managing capital. The role demands a leader with expertise in areas such as ALM, capital planning, and risk management, as well as proficiency in financial modeling and BI tools. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a collaborative team player, and will have a culture of accountability and growth.
