Job Summary:
The Iowa City area is seeking an Intermediary Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse. This position involves working in a specialized unit with neuro and vascular patients, primarily focusing on neuro-related care. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Iowa City, Iowa
• Shift: Rotating shifts, with day and night options
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Level 1 trauma experience; strong neuro experience; minimum of 0 years of experience; valid nursing license required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro and vascular patient care.
• Float: Float rotation is not required.
• Additional Information: The unit is a mixture of neuro and vascular patients, including low acuity neuro spine patients and all vascular patients, with a target staffing ratio of 3:1, occasionally 4:1 at night.
