Overview

Phoenix, AZ Area - We are looking for a highly skilled commercial HVAC Superintendent or Project Manage r who wants to work with a world leader and who is dedicated to excellence, client fulfillment, and the use of digital project management platforms. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-speed environment and must possess experience in HVAC project oversight.

Responsibilities

• Function as the main on-site liaison for all activities related to equipment.
• Deliver daily coordination and supervision to facilitate fluid site operations.
• Guarantee the timely achievement of project milestones, deliverables, and schedules.
• Partner with the Controls PM to track the progress of installations, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Resolve controls-related setbacks or delays immediately to keep the broader project timeline on track.
• Supervise mechanical equipment setup, testing, and initial startup in close coordination with the Equipment PM.
• Address site-specific logistical, delivery, or installation hurdles alongside the Equipment PM.
• Recognize and minimize threats to project quality or schedules by managing risks in controls and equipment sectors.
• Report status updates on equipment and controls activities to senior leadership on a daily and weekly basis.
• Maintain open and clear communication channels between site personnel and external stakeholders.
• Draft thorough reports detailing project status, anticipated delays, and corresponding mitigation efforts.
• Attend meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure total alignment with project objectives.

Professional Requirements

• Demonstrated track record in overseeing HVAC or mechanical construction endeavors, paired with a deep comprehension of on-site project operations.
• Expertise in quality management software.
• Skilled in technical schematic interpretation and blueprint reading for HVAC systems.
• Proven capability in managing resource allocation, project scheduling, and time management across concurrent projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, team members, and clients.
• Background using construction management systems like ProCore or equivalent platforms.
• Must have OSHA 10 Certification
• Thrive in dynamic, high-pressure settings by merging rapid adaptability with a steadfast commitment to safety and precision.
