Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, 24-hour clinical environment. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care with a focus on safety, comfort, and timely treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physicians’ orders and standards of care.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognizing changes and escalating concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document clinical interventions, assessments, and patient responses accurately using EPIC EMR.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid, active nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience required.
• Require current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Must be proficient in EPIC EMR and pass a compliance EKG exam.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and manage holiday coverage.
• Must submit RTO requests with the application; no post-submission RTO accepted.
