Work Environment

This position is onsite, where you will engage directly with clients in their homes. Working in an intimate and personalized setting allows you to form meaningful relationships with residents and provide them with the individualized care they deserve. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents to accurately gauge their physical capabilities, identify treatment needs, and establish personalized therapy goals.
• Regularly monitor residents' progress by documenting their rehabilitation journey and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses every aspect of a resident's health.
• Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise programs and strategies designed to maintain and bolster physical well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies focusing on improving patients' strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy and specific exercise techniques, to facilitate recovery from orthopedic conditions and physical impairments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as adherence to professional standards within therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic focus of our practice means that you will be working with clients primarily recovering from surgical interventions, injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's degree or Doctorate in the field from an accredited institution is highly preferred.

• Excellent organizational abilities to manage patient caseload and comprehensive documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
