Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon - 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat - 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun - 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document observations, incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Possess an active DoD Secret clearance. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Preferred candidates can lift up to 20 lbs. Preferred candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
