Cardiac Telemetry/Stepdown Nurse Unit Overview Looking for an experienced cardiac telemetry/stepdown nurse skilled in managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias. CARDIOVASCULAR UNIT CV STEPDOWN/TELE - This unit provides care for cardiac surgery patients transitioning from the ICU. Candidates must have strong expertise in cardiac telemetry and stepdown nursing, including chest tube and dysrhythmia management. Schedule and Duration Rotating 4x12 shifts covering days and nights with every other weekend off. Duration: 13 weeks Start date: ASAP, depending on EPIC experience and training availability. Requirements Active VA or Compact Nursing License at application time BLS certification ACLS certification At least 2 years of RN experience Proficient in cardiac telemetry/stepdown nursing with experience managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias Experience caring for cardiovascular stepdown (CVSD) patients and telemetry monitoring Additional Information COVID-19: Potential exposure risk Weekend shifts: Scheduled every other weekend EPIC Training: Clinical documentation class required, based on recent EPIC experience: CLIN DOC ACCELERATED: For RNs with 6+ months of EPIC experience in the past 12 months; includes about 4 hours of modules CLIN DOC 2 DAY: For RNs with less than 6 months of EPIC experience in the past 12 months; no modules required Vaccine Policy Flu vaccine is mandatory during flu season (October 1 – March 31) Requests for religious or medical flu vaccine exemptions must follow CMS guidelines and will be reviewed with supporting documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr SoftPath Medical
