Residential Therapist

Overview We are seeking an independently licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) who wants to do meaningful, structured clinical work with youth in a highly supported residential setting. Please note: At this time, we are unable to accommodate associate-level licenses (LPC Associate, LMFT Associate, or LMSW) for this position. Responsibilities As a Licensed Therapist, you will work in our Secure Assessment Facility (SAF) 24/7 operational residential program to provide clinical services for youth ages 5-17. Including: Comprehensive clinical assessments and treatment planning Individual, group, and family therapy services Crisis intervention and stabilization support Collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team Transition planning, discharge coordination, and aftercare support Case management and coordination with external systems (TDFPS, families, providers) The Ideal Candidate Will Hold an active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (independent licensure required) Have experience in residential, foster care, or behavioral health settings Hold confidence working with complex trauma, behavioral dysregulation, and conduct-related needs Value teamwork, communication, and consistency in care Can manage documentation, coordination, and clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment Required Experience Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field Hold LPC, LMFT, LCSW Licensure Minimum 3 years clinical experience Experience with complex trauma and high‑acuity youth strongly preferred Why Clinicians Choose This Role This is a highly collaborative clinical environment designed for clinicians who want: A strong interdisciplinary team (not working in isolation) Complex, meaningful clinical cases involving trauma and behavioral needs Structured residential setting Opportunities to use assessment and diagnostic skills at a high level Direct impact on stabilization and permanency outcomes for youth Why ACH At ACH, clinicians are supported.
