Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

Site CoordinatorWe are currently seeking for a Site Coordinator to work closely with the staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Waco AMG area.As a Patient Service Center (PSC) Site Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area. The position will also perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management.Work Location: Waco, TexasBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. For more detailed information, please click here.Job Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsManage KPI's for metrics and performanceMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1-3 years of experience as a phlebotomist is required.1-3 years of prior experience in a leadership position is preferredPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferredIn depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniquesProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testIf you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
