Job Requirements Senior Product Designer (Senior Consultant, Experience & Design) At Fearless, we are seeking a Senior Product Designer as part of our Senior Consultant,Experience & Design career path to support the modernization of a large-scale public-facinggovernment website. In this role, you will design responsive, accessible, and user-centereddigital experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile. You will translate user needs, research,information architecture, and content requirements into wireframes, prototypes, pagelayouts, and reusable components in Figma while applying established design-systempatterns. Working closely with content strategy, accessibility, research, and Drupalengineering, you will help create a consistent and implementable future-state websiteexperience. This is a fully remote role. At Fearless, the Senior Consultant combines expertise in Content Design, Content Strategy, Product Design, Service Design, User Research, and UX leadership. This role will possess the necessary skills at an advanced level of proficiency for setting the vision, strategy, and systems that guide cross-functional design teams in creating scalable, impactful, and user-centered solutions. The role requires a balance of strategic foresight, design mentorship, and hands-on expertise to deliver high-quality products and services that meet user, customer, and organizational needs. Your Responsibilities in this Role: *Lead the design of the future-state website experience across desktop, tablet, andmobile, creating intuitive and consistent experiences for diverse user needs. *Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, page layouts, and reusable components inFigma from concept through implementation-ready design. *Apply the Massachusetts Design System and approved Commonwealth designpatterns while defining reusable patterns needed for the modernized experience. *Translate user research, personas, journeys, information architecture, navigation, andcontent requirements into intuitive interface designs. *Design reusable page types, components, and interaction patterns that can beeffectively implemented and maintained within Drupal. *Partner with Content Strategy to translate information architecture, navigation, andcontent organization into cohesive user experiences. *Integrate accessibility throughout the design process in partnership with theAccessibility Lead, ensuring designs support applicable accessibility standards. *Collaborate closely with Drupal developers to validate technical feasibility, provideimplementation guidance, and maintain design consistency through development. *Present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporate usability and customerfeedback, and iteratively refine designs through approval. *Develop and maintain Design Playbook guidance, component specifications, anddeveloper-ready documentation to support consistent implementation and futurereuse The Impact You Will Create in this Role: Fearless Impact: Collaborates with cross functional teams Coach, mentor, and develop peers in a manner that allows for knowledge sharing that strengthens the design community within the organization Earn the trust of your customer and teammates by delivering world class services. Fearless Customer Impact: Deliver expected outcomes that are intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically compelling Offer and implement innovative solutions that include design best practices, tools, and research methods Serve as a trusted advisor in your area of expertise Lead and align stakeholders with product and project goals that drive adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction as well as Fearless success Work Experience Project Skill and Experience Requirements *Minimum of 6 years of total relevant professional experience. *Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. *At least 3 years supporting enterprise-wide website modernization or digitaltransformation initiatives, with that work occurring within the past 5 years. *Participation in at least one government, higher education, or similarly regulatedorganization project. *Involvement in the implementation or support of at least one Drupal solution hostedon AWS. *Strong UX/UI design experience for large-scale websites or complex digital services. *Advanced proficiency with Figma, including wireframing, interactive prototyping,reusable components, and developer-ready design specifications. *Strong experience designing responsive, component-based experiences acrossdesktop, tablet, and mobile. *Demonstrated experience applying design systems and reusable design patterns tocreate consistent digital experiences. *Strong application of user-centered and accessible design principles throughout thedesign lifecycle. *Experience translating user needs, information architecture, navigation, and contentrequirements into intuitive interface designs. *Demonstrated ability to collaborate with developers throughout implementation toensure design feasibility, consistency, and quality.
