Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,109–$2,205 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: Weeks travel assignment Shift: 3x12 Days Start date: 07/13/2026 Unit/Setting: Cardiac Telemetry in an acute care hospital Orientation: 38 hours Floating: within scope/service line to meet facility needs Responsibilities Provide direct care for adult patients in the Cardiac Telemetry unit, including rhythm interpretation and continuous monitoring Monitor telemetry strips, interpret rhythms, and respond to significant rhythm changes Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips (no titration required) Monitor external pacemakers and chest tubes; support post-cardiac procedures (post PCI, post‑op cardiac) Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (cardiology, ICU, radiology, therapy services) and document patient status in the EHR (EPIC) Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education within the scope of telemetry care Requirements RN license (active) or eligibility with pending license accepted; MO may submit without license, IL license in hand required at submittal; compact state requirements apply; local candidates within 75 miles are not preferred Telemetry/rhythm interpretation experience required (2 years minimum) Certifications: BLS (BCLS) and NIHSS required; ACLS and CPI preferred Ability to work within the Cardiac Telemetry service line and adapt to unit needs; floating within scope as needed Pre‑start requirements: labs and mandatory modules (typically within 48–72 hours of signing); orientation of 38 hours; vaccines: flu required (COVID‑19 not required); fit testing may be required RTO: Maximum 7 days; requests >7 days require manager approval; no RTO during the first week Vaccination and compliance: documentation due by 3pm CST on the Monday before initial start date Benefits and Support Orientation: 38 hours Structured pre‑start: labs and mandatory modules completed prior to start Compliance support for vaccines, fit testing, and licensing requirements Ongoing recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment EPIC charting system experience and training resources Realistic guidance and coordination for travel logistics and assignment setup #J-18808-Ljbffr
