Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team in Durant, OK. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care.

SHIFT : 6AM TO 2PM


MONDAY thru FRIDAY
Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain treatment procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen collection.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist with billing and coding as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Proven experience as a CMA or in a similar medical assistant role.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
