ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3 nights per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ventilator management, drip management, IABP, and post cardiac cath care. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients on ventilators and infusions.
• Provide post-cardiac catheterization care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Implement best practices and hospital protocols for patient safety and quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Alabama or Compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• 1-2 years of ICU experience preferred.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR is a plus.
