Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide patient care within medical-surgical units, applying clinical expertise to promote recovery and well-being. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and observe for immediate changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license to practice in Colorado.
• At least two years of relevant medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Possess specialty certification in relevant areas (preferred).
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire or upon employment.
