Position Overview

Family First HomeCare is urgently seeking a compassionate RN or LPN for a highly involved home care case in the Land O’ Lakes/Odessa area. This is a long-term opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships and being part of a family-centered care environment.

Client Care Needs

• Complex medical care in the home setting
• ALS-related care
• Trach & ventilator care
• Feeding tube management
• Medication administration
• Paralysis & mobility support
• Urinary catheter care
• Personal care assistance

This role includes active family interaction , such as assisting with grooming, light personal care, and accompanying the family outdoors during scheduled activities.

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed RN or LPN in the state of Florida
• Experience with trach/vent preferred (training available for the right nurse)
• Warm, professional, and family-oriented bedside manner
• Comfortable providing hands-on, involved care

Family First HomeCare is urgently seeking a reliable RN or LPN for a pediatric day shift in Wesley Chapel. This position supports a school-day schedule and is ideal for a nurse experienced in pediatric or home care who is comfortable providing hands-on assistance throughout the shift.

Client Care Needs

• Pediatric home care during school-day hours
• Safe patient transfers (approximately 50–55 lbs)
• Personal care assistance
• Routine nursing support during daytime activities

⚠️ Important Note: Mechanical lift equipment is not available for the majority of the shift , so the nurse must be comfortable performing manual transfers using proper body mechanics .
