About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (21:00 - 07:00) Experience: 5 years of MRI experience License: NJ State License (must obtain once offered) Certifications: ARRT(MR) certification required Must-Have: - Siemens experience - COVID Vaccine & Booster required - Experience with Siemens/GE scanners Description: Locals are considered within 75 miles. ARRT(MR) certification is required at submission. The position requires covering a specific campus. The candidate will be using Philips and New Lantern PACS. The RIS utilized is Meditech. Candidates must have experience with Siemens/GE scanners. The schedule is Wednesday to Saturday from 21:00 to 07:30, with every third weekend required. The position requires management and lead experience. The candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role involves a variety of MRI skills including abdominal, brain, breast, chest imaging, and cardiac imaging. Candidates should be proficient in systematic EKG rhythm interpretation and heart rate calculations. Additional responsibilities may involve preparation and/or administration of contrast media. Evidence of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and booster is necessary along with a supervisory reference. Candidates should ensure their employment history is accurately documented for prior employers.
