Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Franklin, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday to Tuesday

Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including OB and vascular studies, and collaborate effectively with a team to provide quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong OB experience, ability to handle general ultrasound scanning, and proficiency in vascular examinations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound examinations as per established protocols.
• Provide timely and accurate reports of findings.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment with adherence to safety standards.
• Assist in training new staff and travelers as necessary.
• Participate in call rotations as required, providing support for after-hours services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• OB scanning experience is essential.
• Experience in general ultrasound and vascular scanning.
