Nurse Practitioner- PRN

Overview Matrix Medical Network is an independent provider of comprehensive health assessments, serving people across the nation. We offer a role for Nurse Practitioners (NP) to conduct in‑home health assessments, improving patient outcomes and closing care gaps. Responsibilities Conduct adult/geriatric assessments, including medical history, diagnosis, treatment, health education, referrals, case management, follow‑up, and documentation per Matrix guidelines. Administer and order point‑of‑care and lab testing as needed. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, and other medical personnel. Collaborate with the Primary Care Physician on patient education and follow‑up. Provide services at the member’s residence or skilled nursing facilities. Work autonomously, documenting outcomes and adhering to protocols. Benefits Flexibility: Visits scheduled Sunday–Saturday, 8 am–7 pm; schedule based on your availability. Competitive Pay: Earn income per assessment; 20–100 visits/month can earn $1,800–$11,500 based on $90–$115 per assessment. Benefits: Mileage reimbursement, 401(k), employee referral bonuses, limited voluntary benefits. Education and Support: Comprehensive onboarding, preceptor mentoring, 1:1 feedback, free continuing education. Licensure Support: Assistance obtaining additional state licensure or credentialing. Transition to Full‑time: PRN providers can move to FT roles with a sign‑on bonus. Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent experience and NP licensure. Current NP licensure in state of practice, including prescription authority or ability to obtain it. AANP, AACN, or ANCC board certification in Adult, Adult Gerontology Primary Care, Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Family, Emergency, or Acute Care. Current BLS, ACLS, or CPR certification. One year of NP experience preferred; new graduates encouraged. Valid state driver’s license for state of residence. Commercial automobile insurance coverage with bodily injury limits $100,000/$300,000, property damage $50,000, collision/comprehensive deductibles $1,000 or less. Strong computer skills and familiarity with employee health/medical record software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
