About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Home Health RN in Tampa, Florida, 33601!

• Conduct 6-8 skilled home visits per day for patients under Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance plans
• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments, basic and advanced wound care (including wound vac, ABI compression dressings, and Pleurx/Asept drain care)
• Provide IV therapy, PICC line and Midline care and dressing changes, SQ port access/deaccess, lab draw venipuncture, and SQ/IM injections
• Manage high-risk diagnoses including Heart Failure, COPD, MI, Pneumonia, and Stroke, as well as post-operative care
• Complete OASIS documentation and utilize electronic scheduling and timesheet systems via laptop and portable equipment provided
• Self-schedule visits and hours based on the needs of the HomeCare office; shifts may vary Monday-Friday or include alternating weekend rotations

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience (private duty nursing experience alone will not be accepted)
• Infusion experience required; strong IV skills and wound care proficiency required
• OASIS training and hands-on OASIS experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for home visits
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have an exemption form on file; flu shot or declination required (mandatory mask wearing applies in declination cases)
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Familiarity with pro-time machines, glucometers, foley catheter care, and staple/suture removal
• Experience working with high-risk cardiac and pulmonary patient populations

• Work autonomously in a field-based setting with equipment provided, including a laptop, MiFi internet access, and portable printer
• Gain exposure to a diverse, high-acuity home health patient population across a variety of skilled care disciplines
