Security Officer - DAILY

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team as a daily employee. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This is a daily role with a weekly commitment that typically does not exceed 16 hours on average.

Responsibilities:

• Greet, screen, and direct all visitors to company property following established procedures
• Enforce Company security and parking policies consistently and fairly
• Patrol Company property as requested, identifying and reporting safety and security hazards
• Secure and/or unsecured properties as directed
• Respond to medical, fire, security, and other safety related emergencies as trained
• Write clear witness reports
• Provide security presence at special events. production activities, including private screenings, parties, etc.
• Assist in the placement and removal of barricades and posts and the opening and closing of gates for the direction of pedestrian and vehicular traffic
• Monitor security equipment/technologies and report problems
• Act as guest hosts, answering routine questions from visitors and employees, where appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates integrity in all forms of communication and action
• Superior writing ability and command of basic English grammar
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic familiarity with computers, including MS Outlook e-mail and MS Word
• Must possess valid California BSIS issued Guard Card and California Driver's License
• Demonstrate excellent decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-based environment with minimal supervision
• Clear teamwork focus but also able to work independently when required
• Creative thinker and highly adaptable
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to operate company transportation, including electric vehicles and bicycles
• Physical ability to perform all responsibilities as listed above
• Ability to work flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid certificates for CPR, First Aid, and AED.
