Warehouse AssociateWe are looking for a Warehouse Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. The Warehouse Associate responsibilities include storing materials, organization of inventory, tracking/maintaining an accurate inventory, receiving and pulling orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, and safety in the warehouse operations.Essential ResponsibilitiesPrepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Load and unload plaster trucksReceive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).Learn and utilize our Inventory Tracking System in Workday.Take inventory of any material brought back each day on each plaster rigMeasure and bag pigment packs and other materialsPick material batches for plaster rigs each dayKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipmentFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsMust be able to operate a forkliftOther duties may be assignedSkills and QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older (required)Reliable transportation (required)High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)Experience with Workday Inventory Tracking System or similar system (preferred)Previous warehouse experience (preferred)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailMaintain a positive attitude.Physical RequirementsMust have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.Must be able to work in all weather conditions.Must be able to work some Saturdays and at night, when needed.This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
