IT Support SpecialistThis role supports daily IT operations, equipment deployment, and ongoing IT projects across the broader needs of an enterprise-level organization.Responsibilities include user support, device setup, basic network work, and execution of assigned project tasks. The position operates within established priorities and processes, contributing to the reliability and consistency of IT systems across the organization.This role is suited for someone who can take ownership of assigned work, operate with consistency, and continue developing technical skills in a structured environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesHelp Desk & User SupportProvide day-to-day support for end users across multiple locationsTroubleshoot hardware, software, and access issuesEscalate complex issues when neededEquipment & DeploymentConfigure and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devicesManage equipment assignments, reassignments, and returnsSupport onboarding and offboarding processesSystems & Network SupportAssist with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user account managementSupport device configuration, standards, and compliancePerform routine system maintenance and updatesAssist with basic network tasks, including:Terminating and testing Ethernet dropsInstalling and troubleshooting switches, access points, and cablingSupporting office and job site network setupsCollaboration & Platform SupportSupport Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint and OneDriveAssist users with access, file organization, and basic troubleshooting in SharePointHelp maintain consistency and usability of shared resourcesProject ExecutionAssist with ongoing IT projects (deployments, migrations, infrastructure updates)Execute assigned tasks within defined timelinesProvide onsite support at various company locations and job sitesRequirementsExperience3–5 years of IT experience preferredExperience supporting multiple users or locations is a plusTechnical Skills (Preferred)Microsoft 365 administrationActive Directory (ADDS)Entra ID (Azure AD)Basic networking knowledge (switches, cabling, troubleshooting)Experience with device setup and deploymentExperience supporting SharePoint and OneDrive environmentsRemote support tools and RMM platformsExposure to Azure environments is a plusExperience with basic cabling or network installation work is strongly preferredIdeal Candidate ProfileStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityComfortable with both technical support and hands-on physical IT workAble to work independently on assigned tasksOrganized and able to follow defined processesWilling to learn and grow within a structured IT environmentWork Environment & RequirementsTravel required to company locations and job sitesMust be able to meet site access requirements, which may include:Drug screeningsBackground checksSafety and site-specific trainingMust be comfortable working in industrial environments and adhering to safety requirements, including physical IT work (cabling, equipment installs, etc.)Benefits401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffHealth insurance benefitsLeverage Mechanical Services is an equal opportunity employer prohibiting discrimination and harassment based on race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by law.
