Travel Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

Location: Everett, Washington
Job Type: Contract (20 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $1,261/Week
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 4x10 Hours | 40 Hours Weekly

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to support a busy acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization processes, and surgical tray preparation while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and infection control.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Sterile Processing experience in an acute care hospital setting

• Active CRCST (HSPA/IAHCSMM) or CSPDT (CBSPD) Certification

• Strong knowledge of instrument decontamination and sterilization processes

• Experience with instrument tray assembly and case cart preparation

• Experience with Epic and SPM or Censitrac preferred

• Robotics (Da Vinci) and Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing experience preferred

• BLS Certification preferred

• Full availability for the duration of the assignment

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments

• Assemble and inspect surgical instrument trays

• Process specialized surgical and robotic instruments

• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor quality controls

• Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation

• Ensure compliance with infection control standards

• Prepare case carts and support operating room workflows

• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams
