Plumbing Service Technician

Plumbing Service TechnicianD&D Plumbing is hiring a Plumbing Service Technician to join our residential service team in Midland, TX. In this role you'll diagnose and repair plumbing systems in customers' homes, present repair and replacement options, and represent D&D in the field. We service an established customer base with steady call volume, so you'll stay busy year-round.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including water heaters, drain lines, water lines, gas lines, fixtures, and sewer systemsPerform whole-home plumbing inspections and clearly communicate findings to homeownersPresent repair and replacement options and pricing, and close sold workComplete all work in accordance with local, state, and manufacturer codes and standardsAccurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in the field softwareMaintain a clean, stocked, and well-organized service vehicleKeep job sites clean and protect customer property throughout the service callParticipate in the on-call rotation, including some evenings and weekendsCollaborate with dispatch and the service manager to meet scheduling and customer commitmentsQualificationsPrior residential plumbing service and repair experienceWorking knowledge of residential plumbing systems, code requirements, and diagnostic proceduresAbility to communicate repair options professionally and build customer confidenceValid driver's license and insurable driving recordAbility to lift, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areasAbility to pass a background check and drug screenMust be 18 years of age or older to applyWhy Join UsSteady, year-round residential service work with an established customer baseCompany vehicle, fuel card, and tablet providedOngoing paid training and clear advancement pathsMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysSupportive team and a service manager who works alongside you in the field
