Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC, MSW)

Mindify Wellness and Care is hiring multiple New Jersey-licensed Mental Health Therapists to provide telehealth and onsite services at our partner adult day centers in:

• East Orange
• Newark
• South Amboy

Therapists may select one or more locations based on their availability. We welcome applicants who can commit to one center as well as those interested in serving multiple locations.

Schedule

Our partner adult day centers generally operate Monday through Friday. Typical hours are 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. , although schedules may vary by location.

Onsite coverage is generally needed one to three days per week , depending on each center’s needs and the therapist’s availability. Telehealth appointments may be scheduled on additional days.

Compensation

$35–$45 per clinical session

Compensation is based on licensure level, credentials, experience, and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy within the therapist’s training and scope of practice
• Use evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches
• Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and treatment goals
• Provide crisis intervention when clinically appropriate
• Complete accurate and timely assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, care managers, and other treatment team members
• Coordinate referrals and connect clients with appropriate community resources
• Follow HIPAA requirements, payer guidelines, professional standards, and organizational policies

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Active New Jersey clinical or associate license in good standing, such as:
  • LCSW
  • LSW
  • LPC
  • LAC
  • LMFT
  • MSW
  • Another qualifying behavioral health license recognized by the State of New Jersey
• Ability to provide onsite services in East Orange, Newark, and/or South Amboy
• Ability to complete clinical documentation accurately and on time

Experience in outpatient behavioral health, community-based care, telehealth, adult day centers, or working with diverse populations is preferred. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

These positions are 1099 independent contractor roles . Mindify provides patient referrals and administrative support with scheduling and patient coordination.

Therapists work as part of an interdisciplinary behavioral health team that includes psychiatric providers and other healthcare professionals.

Part-time or full-time W-2 opportunities may become available in the future based on organizational needs and mutual interest.
