Job Summary
An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an Intensive Care Unit at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and orientees, and supporting patient safety initiatives. The RN will follow established nursing care protocols and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care in a fast-paced environment.

- Certifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only).

- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, collaborates with patient/family and interdisciplinary team for individualized care planning, documents assessments and interventions accurately and timely, participates in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning, and ensures safety protocols are followed at all times. Provides direction and training to ancillary staff, communicates patient status changes, and contributes to a positive work environment through team building activities.
