Child Adolescent Psychiatrist
Wilkes-Barre, PAChild Adolescent Psychiatrist needed for a not for profit diagnostic and treatment center for children and adolescents. The center serves children with emotional disturbance, severe and persistent mental illness, and pervasive developmental disorders, including autism. It also serves children with developmental disabilities. The center offers a variety of programs and services to enhance the well being of children and families including out patient partial day treatment, residential treatment programs. Salary range of $180-200. The center employs 550 employees including four other psychiatrists. This is an outpatient position working a 40 hr workweek. Offering a generous salary and benefits. Call is 1/5 by phone This is a great community with a population of 40K and a catchments of around 600K, home to year-round festivals and events. Less than 30 minutes from the home of the Yankees minor league team, more than a dozen ski areas and limitless outdoor recreation, including white-water sports, hiking, rock climbing and fishing and just 2-2.5 hrs to NYC.
