LCSW – Correctional Healthcare Contracts
Nextaff is seeking committed and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers for contract opportunities within California correctional facilities. These roles offer consistent schedules, strong pay, malpractice coverage, and the chance to make meaningful impact in an underserved population.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical social work services to individuals with mental health, medical, developmental, or behavioral needs
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and prepare diagnostic summaries
- Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver trauma-informed individual and group therapy
- Perform suicide prevention assessments and crisis interventions
- Participate in risk assessments and level-of-care evaluations
- Coordinate discharge planning and link patients to community resources
- Communicate with families, legal entities, and community agencies as needed
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California
- Minimum 12 months of experience
- Current BLS/CPR (AHA)
- Current TB test or chest X-ray
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong clinical judgment and crisis-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
