Director of Tax Services (Greater Chicago Area)

Seeking seasoned Tax Accounting Director to manage a heavy 1040 book of business serving high-net-worth clients. Will serve as the firm’s signing CPA and will manage a team of 4–5 and oversee roughly 950 individual and corporate tax returns for a loyal client base. Will also serve as a technical resource on tax matters tied to transactions, trusts, and estates.

Requirements

*8-12 years of tax experience in a small-to-midsize accounting firm, with individual, fiduciary, and pass-through (partnership/S-corp) experience

*Demonstrated staff supervision through at least one full filing season

*Must be comfortable managing a team and a heavy book of existing business

*Active Illinois CPA license and current PTIN required

*Proficiency in CCH tax software

*Sound technical judgment

*Strong client-facing skills

*Must currently reside in the Chicagoland area

Compensation will include base salary, bonus and equity components
