OpenShift Engineer

OpenShift EngineerThe OpenShift Engineer will be responsible for engineering, support, automation, and providing thought leadership for Platform-as-a-Service offerings. This role includes administering multiple OpenShift clusters, supporting application migrations, and assisting project teams with containerization and modernization efforts.Required Skills and Experience:OpenShift AdministrationOpenShift Data FoundationOpenShift Platform PlusAdvanced Cluster ManagementAdvanced Cluster SecurityCeph AdministrationExtensive knowledge of Linux containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and containerized application/microservices architecturesWorking knowledge of Java, JBoss, NGINX, Node.Js, and enterprise application architecturesExperience migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloadsHands-on experience with automated deployment toolsStrong understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practicesCI/CD experience with GitLab (or similar tools)Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly in written, oral, and digital formatsWorking knowledge of networking (protocols, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)Commitment to documenting processes, sharing knowledge, and mentoring teammatesPreferred Skills:Experience with SSL certificatesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies, tools, and practices (Kanban, stand-ups, sprints, etc.)Awareness of industry standards and emerging technologiesContainer and pod-level monitoring and logging tools (e.G., Dynatrace, QRadar)Team Culture:Our team is fast-paced, energetic, and results-driven.
