Registered Nurse Travel Labor & Delivery

13-week assignment in Durham, North Carolina offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate labor and delivery nursing care to high-risk antepartum, labor, and postpartum patients.
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being with electronic fetal monitoring and other technology; assess and respond promptly to abnormal findings.
• Assist during cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Manage labor progression, pain control, and epidural administration according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team membersincluding physicians, anesthesiologists, and support staffto deliver comprehensive obstetric care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• EFM certification
• At least 2 years of relevant labor and delivery nursing experience
• Ability to float within region
• Strong labor management skills
• Excellent communication abilities
