AccountantHouston, TXSalary: $65,000 – $72,000About the Company and Opportunity:Entrepreneurial environment with room to grow and take ownershipCollaborative, creative, and flexible team cultureExposure to a diverse mix of real estate, construction, and development projectsOpportunity to gain hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience in a fast-paced industryOverview of the Accountant Role:Support month-end close and maintain the general ledgerPrepare journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with financial statement preparation and bank drawsSupport cost accounting activities and provide audit documentationServe as backup for accounts payable and assist with ad hoc projects as neededPreferred Qualifications for the Accountant Role:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance2 – 3 years of accounting experienceProficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas)Strong attention to detail, organization, and eagerness to learn
