As a Refractive Surgical Consultant, you will work with the WaveLight suite, and any other WaveLight consumables or disposables. Work with the Account Managers and the Refractive team to ensure a smooth sales process, and product knowledge post sale covering the East region.In this role, a typical day will include:Regional on-label post-install sales support, and technical selling for WaveLight products, with an emphasis on premium procedural sellingBranded products include: WaveLight Excimer, WaveLight Femto, Contoura, Wavelight Plus, and all related Wavelight consumables/disposablesWork closely with Wavelight Managers (WM), and Division Manager (DM), andRefractive team to optimize salesinitiatives, product adoption, and goalsAbility to consult with physician/surgeon, key opinion leaders (KOLs), key customer decision makers, and internal stakeholdersMaintain high level of technical knowledge on key existing and new surgical productsAccountable for assigned sales objectives for regionResponsible for Management Business Objectives (MBOs) assigned by managementWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs)The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English5 Years of Relevant ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:Advanced Ophthalmic surgical/technical skills and knowledge.
