• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 2 months
• Pay Rate: $61.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours; 5:30 AM – 10:30 PM dependent upon department needs. Schedule requesting Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 10:30 PM (12 hours), days vary dependent on staffing needs. Rotating Saturdays. Occasional Sunday due to holidays.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Summary

This is a 9-week travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the Dialysis specialty, based at a dialysis center in Rochester, NY. The role requires the ability to run a 4:1 patient assignment and serve as Charge Nurse for 21 stations, with a charge bump for pay. Floating is required across all dialysis locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Run a 4-patient POD to include, but not limited to, stringing and setting up Fresenius machines
• Serve as Charge Nurse for 21 stations as needed
• Float to all dialysis locations as required
• Adapt to varying daily schedules dependent on staffing and department needs, including rotating Saturdays and occasional Sundays due to holidays

Required Skills

• Ability to run a 4:1 patient assignment
• Ability to serve as Charge Nurse for 21 stations
• Proficiency in stringing and setting up Fresenius machines
• Outpatient/Chronic dialysis experience required
• Charge Nurse experience required
• Willingness and ability to float to all dialysis locations

Education Requirements

• Active RN License (New York State — NY is not a Compact state; NY RN license non-negotiable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
