Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, with shifts available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

In accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures, the Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance of a radiologist. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a highly functioning team.

Responsibilities

• Perform computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients.
• Administer venipuncture and contrast as required, with validation completed within one month of hire date.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment according to established safety and procedural guidelines.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the health system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience.
• Experience with Philips imaging systems is required.
• ARRT (CT) Certification is required.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and contrast administration is required.
• 3D imaging experience is highly preferred.
