Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide direct care, treatment, and assessment in an emergency department setting
• Work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform patient evaluations and develop appropriate care plans
• Maintain updated patient records and communicate with families regarding patient status

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Valid RN license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required before start date; ENPC within 90 days
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center and at least 1 year in an ER setting
• Experience in a comprehensive stroke center and high volume emergency department preferred
• Teamwork mentality and flexibility to work across all areas of the ED
