Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Work setting is a short-term acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
• Position is in the Emergency Department (ER)
• Patient ratio is 1:5
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts, noon to midnight
• Rotating weekends required
• Block scheduling required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between units within this facility
• Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active RN license at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with at least 2 years of ER experience are welcome to apply
• Scrubs may be any color
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position; excessive RTO requests may impact the process
• All RTO requests must be disclosed upfront — requests made after submission may be denied
