Job Overview Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently according to Faena specifications. Maintain stock, supplies, and cleanliness of the bar and equipment. Duties And Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards. Use equipment correctly and maintain it properly. Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction. Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized. Know the menu, including liquor brands, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, prices, and garnishes. Understand service requirements, including special requests and VIP considerations. Follow state liquor regulations, especially regarding minors and intoxicated persons. Operate Point of Sale and manual systems accurately. Manage assigned bank and ensure security. Perform opening and closing duties, including stock setup, cleaning, and reporting. Greet guests, take orders, and suggest upsells. Serve drinks, prepare garnishes, and ensure replenishment needs are met. Handle payments accurately and complete reports. Use supplies efficiently to meet beverage costs and reduce waste. Adhere to OSHA regulations regarding chemicals. Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends. Physical Abilities Lift and move goods weighing up to 100 pounds. Navigate uneven terrain and confined spaces safely. Respond to dangerous situations promptly. Remain stationary for long periods and tolerate varying environmental conditions.
