Hydessco is looking for an active, results-driven sales representative to engage customer prospects, weigh market needs, and maintain a healthy business.  Hydessco is capable of fabrication, mechanical and hydraulic repair, maintenance, and installation of various types of equipment.  Our primary focus has been to support our clients in the capillary and coil tubing markets in the energy industry.  However, we support other markets and needs as they emerge.  Tasks and responsibilities may not always be rigidly defined and some adaptability is required.

Summarized Duties and Assignments:

Required duties below are not inclusive but include the following:

·        Works directly with customers

·        Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and earns new accounts

·        Creates quotations and purchase specifications

·        High mechanical and hydraulic (fluid power) aptitude

·        Works with purchasing, accounting, fabrication, and engineering departments

·        Visits existing and new potential clients

·        Highly organized and keeps records of call logs, client activity, and marketing opportunities

·        Monitors competition by gathering current available marketplace information on pricing, products, services, etc.

·        Recommends changes in products and services by evaluating results and new developments

·        Resolves customer concerns and complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management

·        Improve operations, streamline work processes, and be a positive member of our team

·        Understands (or willingness to learn) our hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

·        Exercises latitude and high initiative in determining objectives and goals

·        Travel at time should be expected

·        Comfortable working with lead supervisor at client facilities or jobsites to better understand needs

·        Other duties as assigned by manager

Education and Experience

·        3+ years’ experience in mechanical related field

·        Comfortable with MS Office
