Job Title: Lead Electrician

Pay: $33-$38/hr

Location: Primarily Louisville, KY with projects throughout Lexington and Northern Kentucky

Training: Must complete the first week of training in Lexington, KY

We are hiring a Lead Electrician to join a growing electrical contractor specializing in commercial electrical installations, thermostat controls, and access control systems . This is a role for someone who enjoys running projects, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality work on commercial job sites.

You'll be provided a company truck and trailer and will be paired with a dedicated Electrical Helper to assist with installations and daily project tasks. Most projects will be 2-4 days and will move to the next project since it is specialized work.

• Lead commercial electrical installation projects from start to finish
• Install and troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, and devices
• Install and configure thermostat control systems and access control equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Coordinate daily work activities with your assigned Electrical Helper
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to code
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and other trades on-site
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment

• 7+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
• Experience leading crews or working as a foreman/lead electrician
• Knowledge of thermostat controls, low-voltage systems, and access controls is highly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to travel throughout Louisville, Lexington, and Northern Kentucky as needed

This is a Contract position based out of Shepherdsville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
