Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule: Days, 4x10 hour shifts, varied start times, earliest 0600.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of PACU and PreOp experience.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• No new graduates accepted.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the PACU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation is conducted virtually every Monday. On-call and holiday work required as part of the schedule.
